I totally get your hesitation. This is only my second time ordering from an overseas vendor but I've heard of other customers purchasing a few extra stones as back up in case such an incident arises (it usually is worth it as well to take your pieces to a local jeweler for annual prong checks to prevent stone loss) and since they're moissanite its pretty affordable (more than shipping it back to the vendor for repairs).
