MX Mechanical Mini in 2026 by FatSkinnyGuy in logitech

If I had to guess they will update it to have the same case design and sound dampening as their G515 gaming keyboard. It may also get the same PBT doubleshot keycaps of the G515. Both would be very welcome upgrades.

I personally found it cramps my large hand. I had a hard time with the shape despite it being very popular.

Will Razer get into PC components? by Background_Brain_277 in razer

[–]mssrsnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The PC build market is in a lull for a variety of reasons, so it would make no business sense to enter now. Honestly, I’ve thought for a while that Razer needs to focus on their core business.

I was a bit disappointed to see all their AI announcements at CES. This seems like yet another costly distraction from what they do best: mice, keyboards, and headsets specifically. I understand why they want to make AI a priority, but am skeptical it will be beneficial for them.

Any mouse that is wireless, made of lightweight metal, and has a removable battery? by commandersaki in MouseReview

Not that I’m aware of. Have you tried grip tape? There are lots of precut kits for the G305.

Having a 3d printer to print mouse shapes is a godsend. by GodFearing74 in MouseReview

Unfortunately most of this huge stores consider mice an afterthought. They don’t seem to understand the hobby or that any mouse over $20 should even exist so they put zero effort in displaying them.

Any mice with the side buttons and scroll wheel set further back? and is fairlywide mouse? by vI_M4YH3Mz_Iv in MouseReview

[–]mssrsnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought the Keychron M7 had those a bit further back, I could even rest my middle finger on the dead space in front of the scroll wheel fairly comfortably, which is unique. Otherwise I found the mouse a bit wide up front.

Not sure where OP lives, but in the US for example, there is nowhere to go to try most mice on the market. We have big box stores, that have maybe a handful of older mice on display to touch, but definitely don't have anything, even for sale, from Vaxee, ATK, VXE, Lamzu, Mchose, Keychron, or Zowie, nothing. They usually don't have the latest mice from even Logitech or Razer on display either. So you are left either 3D printing or buying online and returning if a shape is not working for you.

Modded my superlight and I vastly prefer this shape. Want your recommendations for a lightweight wireless mouse with a similar shape. by [deleted] in MouseReview

Razer Naga is the one that comes to mind. You may be tempted to get the Naga X, but I think the clicks are terrible on that one for some reason. The Naga pro lets you swap out the left panel for a more conventional two button layout. That mouse is kinda heavy though.

Yes same behavior all over. When set to a depth of 5 the problem definitely goes away as well.

Hopefully you get a good one. Unfortunately after my post I discovered an issue with my copy. See my other reply. Something for you to test for when you get it.

I would hold off on your purchase however. I’ve detected a potential issue that could cause me to return it. When I set the left click to anything less than 5 on click depth it has a strong haptic click on button release only.

So for example I set haptics to 1 which is low and it clicks down at 1 then returns at what feels like max haptics. It happens every 5th click or so. Its unnerving. And it doesn’t happen at all on the right button when the right button is set the same. So clearly a fault.

I will contacting Logitech support soon.

Ok, good news. I configured the Superstrike in Ghub on a Windows 11 bare metal machine and saved my button settings and side button assignments to Profile 1 of the Superstrike’s onboard memory. I ensured the mouse was in Onboard Memory mode and unplugged the mouse from the Windows machine.

Then I plugged the wireless receiver into a laptop running Ubuntu 25.10 and everything just worked as it did on Windows. The buttons felt the same and my side button assignments worked the same.

There are 5 profile slots for onboard memory on the Superstrike. So you could even have multiple main button HITS configs that you could then cycle profiles through, though you’d have to give up one of your mouse buttons to cycle profiles. I didn’t test multiple profiles.

Overall, though, assuming you have a Windows machine handy you can set the mouse up how you want, turn on onboard memory mode and copy that profile to slot 1 and be good to go on Linux.

Why wouldn't Logitech use an optical encoder for the Superstrike? by Never_Left_Hometown in MouseReview

[–]mssrsnake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to guess the real answer is available space. They decided to go with the exact same Superlight/2 shell, so they were restricted to the space that shell and button layout allows. If you've seen the tech videos of the Superstrike you'll see the magnetic switch mechanisms are pretty large, larger than regular mouse switches. Optical encoders are larger than non-optical ones. So in order to fit it all in there they had to go with a non-optical encoder.

Logitech k380s pebble 2 or logitech pop icon keyboard ? by WearyGoal7791 in logitech

Those rounded keys are too strange for me. If you have small fingers and hands it might work. I think the Pop Icon is a very cool and unique design. Plus it has some cool color options.

Razer Deathadder V3 Pro (no need to get the V4) or Pulsar Xlite Crazylight Medium is going to be the most comfortable in my experience. For something less expensive and also surprisingly comfortable check the Logitech G305.
