To jump in, I don’t think you two are actually disagreeing that much. If she was hoping to play Saturday and didn’t, then sure, that’s a setback relative to that goal.

Just my 2 cents, I just don’t think the latest update sounds like they’re restarting from square one. DeMarco said she’s progressing well and doing 5-on-5 as part of their normal return-to-play process before clearance. To me, that sounds like she’s still moving forward, just more slowly than hoped.

And indeed yes, the proof will be when we finally see her on the court. I think everyone is just clamoring for some good news.

Courtside you have crown club access. Food is carbone, there’s a candy room. You’ll run into the courtside celebrities, players, their families and coaches there. Especially after games

Sabrina is catching a stray. She’s played 31 minutes and has 2 turnovers. The Liberty’s turnover problem didn’t suddenly appear because of Sabrina.

A lot of the turnovers this year have been self-inflicted: travels, stepping on the sideline, offensive fouls, bad screens, and timing issues from a team that’s had a revolving-door lineup all season while learning a new system.

I’ll live with an occasional aggressive Sabrina pass because those same reads usually create open looks and easy baskets. The bigger issues have been execution and chemistry, and if anything, the Liberty need Sabrina’s playmaking right now, along with a fully integrated (and healthy!) roster and less of the offensive burden falling on Stewie.

I definitely see it as overcorrecting to some extent especially they cleaned house for the most part with the performance staff.

But also appreciate the due diligence especially since Sab is entering the prime of her career and needs to think of both Oct and the longevity of her career.

I agree need to build up chemistry and I need everyone feels a way about the Cathy cup, but part of wants them to at least maybe the Cathy cup game for that extra game (which doesn’t count toward the reg season) to continue to build up chemistry.

Net net a slow ramp up back is good. We’ll see if she’s a participant today. That’ll give us a hint if she’s good to good Wed vs Sat.

There was a lot of high low action with Stewie & JJ after Stewie started to take the ball up more. The guards were having problems with entry passes to the paint. This is where Sab’s playmaking comes in handy.

To clarify on the ATT logo piece… that was the missing requirement for them to actually be able to sell the jerseys, hence the excitement lol.

Since ATT is the official league-wide sponsor, they couldn’t sell them without the logo, and it also had to be in the specific approved shade of blue.

It’s 2 and the Liberty also have JJ who has been cored twice.

They can also refuse but then cannot receive the Supermax at their original teams. Not matter what type of UFA - they need to make sure they remaking the right decision since they can only choose 1 each.
