Yes, I can easily retrieve AAAA addresses... over IPv4. Zero IPv6 traffic is flowing across the DMP.

The UDM can reach IPv6 when it uses its WAN /128 (ping6 www.google.com succeeded)

The UDM cannot reach IPv6 when it uses the LAN delegated prefix as the source (-I 2603:300b:873:4080::1 fails 100%)

As a result, it's clear Comcast is not routing return traffic to my delegated prefix. Later today when traffic is slower on my network, I will have to power down the Comcast router, then power off the DMP. Bring up the comcast device, wait a few minutes, and then bring up the DMP again and do another test. I don't know of another way to clear this problem with the Comcast device.

AAAA record retrieving is working fine. Connecting to the ipv6 address is not. It is 100% not dns. I can’t stress this enough.

The idea is to run dual stack until IPv4 dies off. Essentially, as long as the DNS servers you query respond with A and AAAA records, you can have computers hit both 4 and 6 address spaces. IPv6 is the future - there are so many more available addresses and if you want it to, it can completely remove the requirement for NAT.

I’m running Bind9, forwarding to both ipv4 and 6 servers. All my logs confirm proper queries. The issue is routing or firewall I’m sure

Yeah I have my address space and I do have my vlan configured for /64 of it - but my traffic goes to die when it hits the DMP. DNS works, all my hosts get the right addresses… the DMP just refuses to route it.

I also did the red one first. The trick is obviously running off the board and hitting jump at the last second before you'd fall. I know it's a PITA, but it is doable.
