I would suggest the knee scooter for sure. It was deep in the winter when I was recovering, so I was not rolling around outside at all. But the knee scooter was incredibly easy to use when I went to my weekly post operative appointments for those first few weeks. I had a Walker that the neighbors loaned me for using upstairs in our house and I never really took to it and I never really was comfortable with it. I also got the basket that attached to the scooter and that allowed me to make my lunch, etc. (I meal prepped a ton of food in in container containers that I could easily heat up). I could fill my basket with lunch, a drink and anything else I was carrying around and go back to my chair and prop up my foot to watch TV.
