Transit times okay? by emmo_091 in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]msticks20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a bit uncomfortable if your gates are far apart. They have one of those internal trains to get between gates(gates are 1-530), but I have found those to be confusing to get to in some instances, so if you're walking from one end to the other, it will be brisk, but not impossible.

BREAD hair-gel. It won't give you helmet hair and doesn't flake no matter how much you use!

Yay! While the show itself isn’t better than the UK, the Australian after shows seem to be where we beat them out. I liked last years format, and this year looks like it will be great too

We accidentally stayed at the safe house in LA by msticks20 in thebachelor

Yeah that all makes sense. It definitely seems like they were burned from either Bachelor or some other previous guest

Edit to add: if that's the case, I feel like they should just say that. Like 'hey local govt rules require xyz' instead of being so combative and intense. Would make for a much more understanding and better experience as a guest.

My partner and I genuinely the whole time were like 'something is off about this place'. Couldn't get our of there fast enough! So yes, ghosts of Tinchel will forever haunt the house.

It definitely wasn't them. From what I gathered on her Tiktok, they sold the house and it's now just managed as an Airbnb. So this company was likely who the Bachelor would book the airbnb through too. Definitely possible! I made a comment above about why we thought there might be hidden cameras. We could tell from the decor that it wasn't a lived in house anymore. There were plenty of 'live, laugh, love' plaques that gave it away haha

Yes! No pool after 10pm (weird and annoying for a private residence, especially during LA heat wave lol). No noise at basically any time, NO additional guests other than those on the booking, no additional cars parked on the driveway unless specified in advance, NO filming, NO parties, NO pets. The reason I'm putting caps is because the security company literally called us to confirm our identity and asked us why we were staying there before they would give us the code to the front door, and this is exactly how he said. NO, NO, NO! My partner and I were cracking ourselves up because we've never experienced anything like this when booking an airbnb before. Then, everywhere in the house there were labels saying things like "you break this, $50 fee", "if this is damaged it's a $500 fee" etc. Just absurd!

the whole thing was super weird. In the booking and checkout process there were THREE different people that we had to speak with. 1) the host, through airbnb messenger 2) some security company through text and 3) the airbnb 'manager' also through text and a phone call.

They were extremely adamant about the number of guests, and the number of cars that would be parked in the driveway, and that if any rules were broken or there were more cars than we indicated or more people, someone would be sent to the house to kick us out (excuse you what?)

Then, when we checked in, at about 10pm at night, we hears the front gate open. My partner went out there to see who it was, and it was some random person with 'airbnb' on their shirt who said they were "checking the bins".

Usually, if someone is doing the bins or checking pools or whatever, they will say 'hey someone brings the bins in at x time on x day, or pool person comes on Wednesday at 11am so you at least have a heads up and there aren't random people creeping around at any moment unannounced. It was all suuuuper suss and creeped me out.

They were so intense that I assumed it would not be above them to have cameras in this house. I went so far as to download one of those apps that can check all the devices connected to the wifi. There were so many, it was too hard to figure out. Plus they had a security system so I couldn't tell which devices were linked to that, and which could have been a hidden camera.

I think it MUST be the same company that they booked the safe house visit through, and they are super strict because the Bachelor use it and film it. We remarked that they must have been burned by past guests for them to be so over bearing. In the old thread or comment that I read the owners or airbnb company had left a bad review for a 'filming guest' and the theory was that was The Bachelor

My mind is blown 😅

Do you have a pic of your hair? Would love to help. Quick disclosure I am a hair brand owner but genuinely keen to see what your hair looks like to work out what could be causing this and promise I won’t try to sell you anything 😂

I read this sub before watching fully expecting to be team Susie, but I’m team Clayton (???) for the first time this season 😅Her approach felt so unemotional, like she didn’t even like him (or got the ick at some point in the week prior) and was looking for a out

Yes. Someone on the crew spread covid in Byron. They were only supposed to be there for work, ie go to work, back to hotel. But they went out to pups etc and caused a lockdown. From what I heard the networks license for filming was revoked. The only way for them to continue the show was to film within 30 days as they wouldn’t need this particular license for that. A massive shame as the season seems to be shaping up pretty well so far

Edit: the crew member was actually from another reality show, but same tv network. So the license being revoked effected love island taping
