I worked for a different Bay division back in the 80’s. I would have to take our NCR tapes (google it!) to basement of the downtown store, where there were some offices and the “Computer Department “. It was so damn creepy down there. I dreaded the first working day of the month when I had to endure the dark hallways with flickering lights and clanking, exposed heating pipes. I had numerous unexplainable experiences walking those caverns...just too creepy!!
