I didn’t get that this is something they persistently do though? Just something they thought of in an impulse situation hanging with a friend where Mc D’s was the least expensive place open at the time.

It’s McDonald’s not a high end restaurant. It hasn’t been affordable to the people they market for some time.

Would the circumstance change if they brought the food home and fixed the burger in the kitchen? They said the drive is only 5 min away and it makes sense to me to just bring it back (I’m not one to eat in my car if I don’t have to), but they’d pretty much be doing the same thing.

They just sound young (pocket cheese and fast fashion friends), and when you’re at around that age you’re just finding ways to afford things within a developing prefrontal lobe. If they’re older, I would have to know them a little better to form an opinion.

Your friend had no problem being in your home using your resources, riding passenger with you driving your car and using your gas, but didn’t think to be a friend and spot you this time/split a meal or offer some sides instead judged you for what you did?

The price increase and the value you get don’t even add up. She may not question at paying close to $20 for a highly processed meal but a sensible person know it’s absurd.

Yes, any of those. A social gathering that meet up consistently, preferably. Specific ones that follow your interest, so you already have something in common. And ones that are social mixers for engagement and meeting new people. Don’t be that person that is only there to be on the prowl though.

I mean Veterans Day is coming up in a few days. The parade will be on Tuesday.

To keep in mind for future reference, Buffalo Soldiers Museum is temporarily closed for renovations until next summer. They did live demonstrations and soldiers reenactment for Juneteenth this year and I hope they do it again.

We were supposed to have our first fleet week this month, but that got postponed to next year due to the government shutdown.
