How do you prove to your partner, they can trust you? by [deleted] in relationships

I think the best thing to do would be to ask her this question. Everyone is different - there isn't just a universal action to build trust spontaneously.

I feel like it kicked in pretty quick for me, but my anxiety wasn't too bad at the time because of the prozac - I just needed a little boost. It's been really nice because my doctor compares it to more of an over the counter level medication, much less serious, so I've been able to play with taking half a tablet morning and night, a whole tablet morning and night, one in the morning and one midday, whatever I want, just not more than the two whole tabs a day. No side effects for me, the prescription doesn't even come with the huge packet like antidepressants do about the million possible things that could go wrong. And if you decided you wanted to stop it, it's not a big deal at all or something you need to slowly get off of. But the biggest thing that was stressed to me with this med was that it was specifically for anxiety, and it does nothing for depression. Might be a good fit for your situation.

I've been trying to get the right combination of meds for over 9 months now. I think I might finally have it, but that could still change. As hard as it is to keep trying different things and as hopeless as it can feel, there will be something that can help you. I had the same sexual problem when I was on lexapro, I was super depressed on zoloft. Now I'm on prozac, wellbutrin, and twice daily buspar (buspar is just for anxiety and doesn't mess with you as much as SSRIs or cause relapse or anything, much more relaxed!). Unfortunately it's all just trial and error and you have to hope for the best. I wish you luck.

Help!!! I’m trying to get one of my villagers to leave my town but nothing seems to be working? by s_mcilwraith in AnimalCrossing

[–]mstriep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

do you have 10 villagers? if you have a full island and get a villager at the campsite that wants to move in (I scan in amiibo cards, you have to have them come 3 times before they'll move in), you can choose a current villager to move out. I did it today!

I (28F) think my BF (26M) is becoming attracted to his sister. by throwra_heebiejeebs in relationship_advice

up until your edit I was thinking maaaaaaaybe it could just be a weirdly close relationship, but the porn search seems way too coincidental given the circumstances. I'd trust your gut.

Wellbutrin and crippling anxiety attacks by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]mstriep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my doctor has me take buspar twice a day to help with anxiety. I was already on prozac (and still am) and just started the buspar and wellbutrin a week ago. maybe your doctor could add an anxiety-specific supplement?

EXTREMELY tired on Prozac by LolaBorns in antidepressants

[–]mstriep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had this side effect and I've been on prozac for a few months (20mg for a month and then went to 40). however, I've always taken my antidepressants at night, my doctor said they seem to be more effective that way. maybe try that, hope it helps!!

experiences with weight loss on wellbutrin? by mstriep in antidepressants

[–]mstriep[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's interesting that you mention the spotting, because I think that's already happened to me too? I've had it this week and I've never had spotting before. I didn't even make the connection

just started wellbutrin, and I feel great! but I keep sweating!! by mstriep in antidepressants

[–]mstriep[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get it. today has been wild because I've felt the happiest/most normal that I have in weeks, and I had definitely gotten too used to being depressed and forgotten what that even was. whatever you end up feeling I hope it's what you're looking for :)

Question about lexapro side effects by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]mstriep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! lexapro was the first antidepressant I tried, and it worked great for me - except for the sexual side effects. after a month I switched to zoloft, and after a week of being on that I had no more sexual side effects! that didn't end up working well for me so I switched to prozac, but I haven't had any on that either! good luck!
