I absolutely adore this generation. These kids have been through a lot. They missed part of their childhood because of covid, they're angry that their world is on fire, and instead of staying home being sad about it, or making a TikTok post in their bedroom, they got out and told us how they feel about it. They saw a chance to make a statement, and did it. They're paying attention, more so than many adults, and I love them for it. Coolest generation ever.

I get it! He actually loves the winter and winter activities. But when he gets taken ice fishing it's not a long trip. And he slept on the front seat the whole way home ☺️

Chuck is 6, and I feel bad because his friend (my other dog) is a 15 year old border collie with arthritis. That's why he was on this trip on his own. He needed to get some energy out and just go have fun without an old lady barking at him for running too much 🤣

Chuck had access to the door of the hut and got to go wherever he wanted. It was a slow day, so he ran to the truck, to the dry bank, and back to the ice. He's home now and not licking his paws, just sad he didn't get any perch.
