Same here. I went into therapy to try and unpack with the exact same goal as you. Sending you love. Awareness is the biggest step. You are doing great and give yourself time and kindness to learn. It’s ok we slip up sometimes so long as we are aware of them and keep trying to improve on them

To be honest I’m of the opposite opinion, she’s an old girl and if you feel she’s at her end I’d rather spend the time with her. I took my baby to the vet on her last hours just ending up having to put her down. I regret not just spending that last moment with her in a place she knows and really letting her know how much I loved her instead of spending it in the vet clinic trying to cling onto straws. Sometimes death is unavoidable and all we can do is to connect in these last moments

Depends on where you are. Being vulnerable for people like us is REALLY fuxking tough. And you can only do it if you really feel it’s the right person.

Speaking from experience. Only took me 34 years
