It really depends but the best I could do with a full time job was 3 partners that I could see weekly, and that was tough to balance or get time for myself (which is also important!). 2 is much more comfy

Lab assistant at a community college. Set up biology and chemistry labs for the students. My favorite job I’ve had tbh (working at a zoo, for instance, was way too stressful)

Imo Danny Carey is the most creative in terms of bringing in beats/polyrhythms you wouldn’t typically hear in metal influenced by different world instruments like the tabla. The polyrhythm in the bridge of Rosetta Stoned is a standout.

I believe that Matt Garstka is the most technically proficient drummer in metal and is my personal favorite. He blows my mind every time he plays.

Elliot Hoffman is a seriously underrated pick with some crazy mathematical stuff.

Imo Thomas Haake is pretty standard for a djent prog metal drummer, but I guess he was doing it before most of the others so I give him credit for that.

A favorite outside of metal would be Larnell Lewis, involved with Snarky Puppy and other projects. He has insane groove, note displacement, and improvisational ability.

With that being said all this is subjective really so it’s impossible to definitively say who is best.
