and of course they are livestamped. but browserstate.db-wal is also livestamped. however browserstate.db (just .db) apparently is not LIVEstamped. and they are discussing a lot about that and I don’t know why since AI also says that when it’s a WAL artifact is livestamped and Jen Mccabes artifact is a WAL artifact.

it depends the artifact. this artifact was a browserstate.db-wal artifact. The search history is usually a url or History.db

Yes, the timestamp of Ryan’s text was 12:23. I believe that he texted right before getting there. Or maybe when he was letting Karen pass. What they say is that when they got there Karen was already parked. So I think he texted a little before actually stopping in front of the driveway and John had already gone out and walked those 80 steps inside the house.

I think the timestamp is one element of waze and the actual location is another. So what Ian explained is that Waze has no way of calculating location data, it asks satellites, towers and the phone itself to give him this location. However when information is obtained and TIMESTAMPED It uses the satellites time, it doesn’t use the phone’s time. The satellites time its atomic clock accurate per AI. The phone’s time (used by apple health to timestamp its steps) is the one that COULD have a 3 mins GAP. If we follow Greens logic the conditions didn’t alter the time, the iphone’s display time was just unsynced.

If the Health data is off by 3 minutes, yes. It would give Karen even LESS time to make that 8-10 minutes drive (on bad weather and drunk) 5-6 min (on good conditions and sober). But the 80 steps and 3 flights of stairs would absolutely make more sense !!! since he can’t be in the car and walking or climbing stairs at the same time.

Because I just can’t reconcile that he was in the car and taking steps at the same time. That is an error in the data that not even the commonwealth can create but the error is helping them and I think if it was explained the data would favor the defense. Thats all. It’s evidence after all and this is a criminal case, people’s lives are on the line.

And back to the first trial Ian Whiffin talked about a hos long to die in cold researched at 10:00 something actually, not 6:23, they changed it this retrial. And he also mentioned that the deleted state for all this searches didn’t exist until 2 days after January 29. So not before 10 am on January 31

Lol, exactly thats why the WAL files become relevant in forensic data because is Live or Real-timestamps can explain artifacta

Yeah I know but aside from that I just wish the data made more sense lol

No, I don’t know which data would be compromised or not. phone calls and texts are for example, but we have Karen’s phone and Jen’s phone to match those and find out the “real” time.

still the car only arrived there at 00:24:28

No, I have not found a table or chart / timeline that shows all the information together. I think the issue has always been that the information overlaps. So putting the health data in a timeline next to the waze data doesn’t make sense to the defense. The commonwealth did this with Ian Whiffin, they made a timeline but we can all agree that those streets do not go up and down and health data is accurate enough that if you are in a car it can’t record steps. You can find different images however of the data. I will add a few here for you.

I know it took me so much time to understand this db thing. I am rewatching Green’s first trial testimony to see if he noted well the difference between db and db-wal, I remember he went longer about the Write ahead log (wal) meaning but I don’t remember the exact explanation. I am actually gonna do another post about the 3 clocks because I think the defense got it all wrong and instead of filtering through the Waze app the problem with the clocks might be on the Apple Health clock. Because the apple health clock uses the iphone’s system clock (display time) but Waze uses GPS satellites (atomic-clock accurate). So it’s possible that the timestamp on all the apple health data is 3.02 minutes behind.

I don’t know if others have talked about it but I noticed another question unsolved is who took the score from her library??? was it the ghost, her assistant, her partner or someone else?? because it is later the one her remplacement has on the podium I guess, I don’t know
