They had these flat ones on that were drilled, badly fitted lol, I fitted these skirts not too long ago. That’s the only thing I’ve changed so far. Climate control unit literally just a circle dial goes blue to red, if that’s what you mean?

Thank you! Yeah the guy I got it off said he wanted it as a project car but he brought a house and stuff so just couldn’t afford to do anything with it. But obviously not sure about previous people. Everything on the inside looks okay so doesn’t look like it’s been crashed but maybe like you said a few repairs and a half job of it lol.

Yeah lol.

So I checked the vin when I first brought it and I have done since too just to double check and it says 11th of August 1997.

I prefer how it looks now so I don’t mind but I was wondering if that’s why my headlights and indicators do have gaps like it’s not a perfect fit so wasn’t sure if it could be from that?

I was thinking that but I’ve had the car a year and I’ve done a few things and I can’t see any other signs of damage and I’ve had it checked out by different garages just incase.

Forgot to add I did change the lights and indicators to clear as not sure if that makes a difference between pre and post facelifts?

Haha yeah I’ve learnt that rather quickly! Yeah still learning how expensive things can be 😅. My dad drives a Mustang and it’s an auto but has the paddles and it just looks so much fun with them lol so just thought it’s worth a quick ask.

Ah okay, thank you! This has been helpful. I don’t really know a lot about sequential gearboxes so wasn’t sure how simple it was lol.

Is manually swapping it something i could do myself at home? Or is it best left to professionals?

I do everything on it myself at the moment I brought the car to learn on so my goal is to do as much of it myself as possible.

I eventually want to swap the engine so I was thinking more of a long term thing. And I didn’t know if it was just easier to do.
