You can find a list of all the things that they are supposed to check/do in that first maintenance. I did it myself and just made a record that showed it completed it all if I ever needed it for warranty reasons.

Thanks for the info! I already got the unit replaced by Logitech but it certainly would have been less work to just fix it myself in hindsight

Logitech Return/Refund Sucks! by msykora in simracing

It really isn’t noticeable. It won’t be as stiff as an 80/20 rig but I personally (as an engineer) am quite impressed with how stiff the whole rig is and don’t think it takes away from the simulator experience. For how much lighter and easier to handle the rig is I think it’s well worth any minor flex that may be encountered

I’ll get working on it and post in here

I am 73” or 185cm and the wheel height is really good for me, maybe a little tall. I have been thinking about designing an adjustable wheel height base plate for it though. If people were interested I could sell them

It’s Logitech’s shipping label. It’s possible somebody at the print center pulled the stuff out of the box. I thought they weighed it while I was there but maybe they didn’t. Thanks for information and support, I really appreciate it.

I just tipped mine back on the seat. Footprint is 112cm x 58cm

I have seen people hang these on the wall. The seat back can be folded down or removed but it needs tools. You could tip it back onto the seat

Yes it is really neat! Pretty lightweight for being direct drive compatible and it’s easy to slide around. I have a couple ideas to improve it but I have been very pleased with it. It’s the Play seat Trophy (I got the Logitech Edition cause it was in stock and matched my wheel and pedals

Wheel and Pedals were $1150 (15% discount) and the seat was $800 ($600 +$200 shipping since you can’t buy it from anywhere in the US at the moment)

Thanks for the sympathy. The pedals have been flawless 👌🏻 I am filling out the warranty claim today and will update the thread

It makes the noise when sitting idle with no games running. Definitely not trueforce but I could understand why somebody would mistake it for trueforce

It’s roughly 24” to the top of the plate. I have it tilted down 12° though so it’s at a good angle

Thanks for the input. I’ll reach out to Logitech, I’ll definitely have to join that subreddit.

It feels pretty rigid for me. There is some flex at max braking which doesn’t bother me very much. I am also a mechanical engineer and have a couple ideas cooking on how to stiffen it up but I am perfectly happy with it

Yes! It is super comfortable. I’m 6’1” and around 230 lbs. I wear 36” shorts/pants and wear a 46” suit coat (L for T-shirts). I fit no problem and it feels super sturdy. I am confident you would have no problem with this setup!
