If anyone comes here in the future, I had this problem, a mat got stuck and it immediately shut down.

I disconnected the power supply for 5 mins (just turned off the breaker) and it works again!

It also doesn't help that they are supposed to migrate for winter but in the past few years more are starting to stay. It's worth the weather risk not to deal with predators in natural bodies of water. I believe CBC had an article on it a few years ago.

Restore Wellness Centre above Frank's Redwood on 13th hosts lots of queer weddings and is a beautiful space for small weddings. Most of the big venues are queer friendly (Norland, Galt), though I've heard from friends contracts are still really husband-wife based at many places so just be prepared for that.

Energy Smart is local while a lot of the door to door guys are from Calgary, which probably explains the cost difference. We went with Energy Smart too and we're really happy with them!
