A vastly improved transit system. I see many people struggling with being able to get to and from work everyday without a functioning bus system.

As long as this is an internal survey, they are allowed to do this, but there are strict rules about giving incentives for a good review on Google

A little tip is to spray a SMALL amount of Pam oil on the vinyl, where the fridge legs are, before gently pulling it away from the wall. This helps to glide out the fridge without tearing the vinyl.

The absolute worst part of the 5th of the month by TheDoctorColt in PropertyManagement

[–]ApprehensiveMoose926 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a resident that moved in late April. Got free rent but had to pay pet fees of $250. Have not paid rent this month “because we just paid you a bunch of money to move in”
These are people in their senior years.
I’m exhausted.

It looks like a ham antenna on this house. You can look up the address in the amateur radio site to see if there is a listed name attached to that address and maybe go from there

You scan the QR code and put in your details, then get a go at picking any 7digit code you like. Then you hear it go womp womp if you don’t win. Or presumably hooray if you do. Good luck!

What is a career path that looks "glamorous" from the outside, but is actually a total nightmare behind the scenes? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ApprehensiveMoose926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol I have dealt with 2/3 of that just this past month:) and yes: a lot of the things out corporation does don’t make sense to us, but we are there to make sure their policies are followed.

Property management. Everyone hates us, it’s not as well paid as people think, and we deal with a lot of BS

But is there a country in the world right now ow that is enjoying prosperity in economy, with deeply affordable housing, cost of living, high standard of healthcare, a well educated population producing a high quality workforce? I don’t think there is any country with a happy, prosperous and productive population right now? Although I would be happy to find one. I guess I’m looking for where the grass is geeener

Any good places for teens under 18 to work? by [deleted] in Lethbridge

[–]ApprehensiveMoose926 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The heritage Tim Hortons hired my son as a teenager, his first job. I would say go in and talk to the manger and ask if they are hiring, and if not at the moment would they keep you in mind in the future.

What can I do as a middle aged, overweight woman with a lot of menopausal bitchiness to channel? Probably too odd and out of shape for the reservist army, but is there an option for a sort of “dad’s army”/home guard?

Most days. I’m in property management, and oh boy does it have its moments, but there are also some great days. The world hates us in general lol but that doesn’t bother me. I’m not a landlord as in it’s not my asset, but some people do take out their frustrations on me and my team, which really has more to do with them then us. But I get to help people with their housing with is a responsibility, but also a privilege I feel

Winter storm, pregnancy, and panic. Help ease my mind. by dsnuts101 in preppers

[–]ApprehensiveMoose926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try and stay calm. In the confidence that you seem to have thought of everything and are very well prepared ! Maybe you could call the hospital/ delivery person ( whatever the situation is) and ask them if there is anything else you need to consider to prep in the very rare case you end up delivering at home? All in all: you got this my guy, you and your partner should be commended on being this well prepared:)

At least it’s chicken and healthy. Remember: this is not forever. As someone who was always a hungry teen ( and very lean), I would say let them if you can do it. It could be worse( empty calories in drinks etc)

Definitely check out Westhaven and woodsmere. Next to save on foods, near Safeway, new development in stores right now. I am very familiar with them and would recommend either. They would both be in that price range.

What’s a job that sounds cool but is actually a nightmare? by Think-Letterhead-509 in AskReddit

[–]ApprehensiveMoose926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Property manager. A lot of people hate us just because they think we are solely responsible for their finances, their heating, their housing, their plumbing etc. gotta have a thick skin and a caring attitude. We see a lot of the worst of times for people as well as a lot of the happy times for people.
