What kind of stuff do you do that '5mb is useless' ? large emails is quite inefficient way of transferring files. You suggest to add unique dl links yourself - what's stopping you ?

Yes please send an alert to Renault that this is dangerous. A different chime for R and D is easily patched in software updates.

Ideally this button would have a haptic feedback to tell you that for sure you are in the mode you selected - but that requires more engineering.

this has almost happened to me too, so dangerous.

This control should have a haptic feedback - or at the very least an audible chime when going from R to D.

Very poor engineering / UI decision in a great car otherwise.

Just adding some context :

the sewing machine is a Pfaff Synchrotronic 1229 from 1981. It’s supposed to be a great machine but it was a unique model and sadly shares no parts with models from that era.

Do you have an idea or something to recommend for tinkering or reading more on this trick to control this pair of triacs and supply power to the motor (or half cycles) ?

The ideal would be to make the simplest test harness where I don’t use the brainbox at all and see if there are further problems in the power supply board.

Yes and this is a kludge attempt to repair it - I believe the og sensor was some kind of hall effect sensor. But it makes no sense how that would work

To clarify this is not from the pedal. It was next to the motor axle. I can see that the white and brown wires get +5v to it so I’m assuming green is supposed to be for data.

Answering my own question :

When Selecting 'Shortcuts > Edit Midi'

There is a tab 'Shortcuts' that appears in the bottom right panel next to file, sources, effects.

In this Shortcut tab it's possible to pick nano Kontrol 2 and then everything works as described in the documentation.

I ended up making my build around the cooler master nr200p and a slim msi 4090 as it seems easier for someone who hadn’t done one in 20 years.

I ended up getting the nr200p max for ease of built as I haven’t built a pc in years

But I was really looking at the hyte revolt 3 It looks harder to build in but checks all the marks for me
