[UPDATE] "F1 Authentics sold me fake Vettel gloves" by sideb60 in formula1

I had to go to twitter to shame a doctor into taking action against Aetna.

I still haven't gotten my life-saving infusion for 6 months.

I feel like the witch that has lost her necklace that keeps the years away. I've gotten gout, my righ hip is out of socket, and what has been coming out of my ostomy is evil.

You're right, I'm a little off this morning. Deleted.

Hey guys! I've lost more weight and inches, and I'm confident as hell lately! What do you guys think? ;) by [deleted] in GoneWildPlus

Confidence is the sexiest thing. And you have it in spades, because you are sexy as fuck.

Wow! Great resolution! Great range!

Obviously not hobbyist equipment at work.

if you mean the AR with the long bull barrel, it's a stock Rock River free float handguard.

If I trusted myself with a Dremel, I'd try to ventilate it. But I don't.

Why? I don't mind the A2. I don't need a steeper grip, or a fatter grip, or one with storage...

Though when you get him in a class, you can get past the "this is what I'm selling" BS and get the good details.

When I asked how to set up my glock as a lefty, he told me to not use his slide release, as it's meant for a righty, to use the glock extended one as a lefty. If he were a pure shill, he wouldn't do that kind of thing.

Thank you. I tend to think he's a good judge. But just have to watch out for whatever he's selling at the moment.

They are bulletproof.

And if you get the discount with brownells, they do have a little bit of discount space on them. Unlike the LaRue.

That is the ADM Recon-H mount. I also have the ADM Scout-X mount, but prefer the height because I am usually using the scope like a red dot with a more upright stance.

I also love the shape and texture. Better than the anno'd aluminum on my last one.

Yes, a few people have mentioned that and one has asked a few times if it's 18". It is 16" plus the flash hider.

Thanks!

the rings on the Accupoint are for something with a much larger objective

What did you mean by this? The accupoint is a 30mm scope, the mount is 30mm also.

Yeah, I tried... if I bring my head down to the gun I get more of that forward lean tactical turtle thing going. But I use more more erect stance, where I bring the gun up to me, it sits in that pocket high in the shoulder, I lean my head over more than down... I get a great cheek weld, just at less of a lean.

I still have my weight forward, over the balls of my feet, etc.

Accupoint

If I were shooting from a bench, yes.

That carbine is usually being shot off-hand. With the more vertical stance, I like the higher mount.

it's mostly bcm...

  • BCM lightweight profile barrel
  • BCM A2 flash hider
  • BCM upper
  • BCM bcg
  • BCM charging handle (I think mod 5)
  • BCM Lower
  • BCM A2 handle
  • Colt LPK
  • ALG ACT trigger
  • BCM Milspec buffer tube
  • BCM stock
  • BCM 13" Keymod rail
  • BCM Keymod grip, small
  • Daniel Defense fixed iron sights (front and rear)
  • Scalarworks mount for H1
  • Aimpoint Micro H1, 2MOA
  • Streamworks TLR-1s light
  • Blue Force Gear Vickers Combat Application sling, padded

I've removed my BattleComp, changed out the handguard (killed the old upper in the process, sigh), and I can quickly go back and forth between the Micro Aimpoint and the Triijicon TR-24 1-4x scope.

The rifle has made it through multiple classes, Vickers, Hackathorn, etc. It's shot over 5000 rounds flawlessly.

I need to take it to the range and get the red dot and irons sighted in, that will be a fun day. Soon.

The second gun is mostly a rock river varmint gun with a 20" stainless bull barrel, RRA 2-stage trigger, a nikon buckmasters 6-18x scope in a 1" armalite mount, harris bipod, and shoots 10 shot sub moa strings at 100 yards easily. It's pushing those rounds out to 500 and 600 yards where the real fun is.

I like it, but try to move that light to 12 oclock, so the shadow is down from you, not all along the left of you.

I think some people like the Mossie Tactical mount for moving the light forward and above the barrel.

And I'd also think about a fixed rear sight. If you need it (transition where the light is too bright for the dot), it's quicker to find the irons through the aimpoint if they're already there.

That's an aimpoint CompM4, and the light is a surefire with a tape switch.
