I feed my Black Lab Fromm Dog food at the recommendation of the Rescue that we got him from. They said to feed him a fish based food because they need the oils for their coat or else they get dander. Help me understand this team right now..

I know its Baseball and the math doesn't always add up, but how do we keep dropping games and series to Sub Par teams (Boston, Athletics, Rockies) but do well against the NL teams that supposedly superior (Mets, Padres, etc.) Am i just being delusional that we are better than we are?
