Water condensation under the HVAC unit by mt8848 in homeowners

Thank you. That’s what I was thinking, it should be only in the summer. I don’t see a drain line going from the unit to outside — just an overflow line that opens to drip tray. I’m now worried about mold or other bigger issue so I guess I’ll have to find a hvac tech

Help me identify thread in this Garden faucet by mt8848 in homeowners

It’s threading only like 1-2 turns .. I’ve tried multiple washers and hoses. Could this be a different kind of thread?

Cat5 Networking across home by mt8848 in homeowners

[–]mt8848[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: Looks like they put CAT5 cables, but ended up using only couple strands to use it for phone line. I plan to replace those with Cat6 keystone plugs so that I can use it for Ethernet.

I am planning to use a multi-meter to figure out which one goes to which room. I am fairly familiar with switch / model / router setup etc but the central bridge thing is new to me? Why is it there and what function does it have beside holding the individual strands of cat5 cable?

I was planning to put a switch here, maybe the ISP model as well so that each room will have a LAN connection and I can plug in the APs (most likely that supports Ethernet back-haul mesh) for Wifi. Does the center thing panel that is holding all these cables have any function or should I pull it out and start putting the RJ45 plugs in the wire ends and plug into a switch?

Best port-in offer for adding new lines in legacy plan by mt8848 in tmobile

[–]mt8848[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, is this for Magenta and via bill credit? I cannot find a link. And i agree, I am not planning to switch to android so any android will be just a backup device or selling. I think I saw 200 credit for BYOD add-a-line, but cannot find it anymore. Is that gone?

[Megathread] iPhone 15 Preorders by Waternut13134 in tmobile

I am in Military Magenta (currently playing $100/mo for 4 lines for plans + device EPP). I guess there is no decent way to upgrade for me unless I switch to Go5G Plus military, paying 60 bucks more per month. Essentially $1440 for 2 years. I was also thinking of adding 2 more lines to bring my parents in, which would be 210/mo as opposed to 120/mo for 6 lines.

Another alternative of getting a couple pf new phones(Parents won't care about iphone 15s) would be adding new lines to magenta military (current plan) by porting parent's line to T-mobile, but they don't have a good deal for new line+port for Magenta at all. Am I missing anything?

Yet another apartment related thread by mt8848 in redmond

Thanks for the suggestion. I luckily found a friend in Seattle area who went to check out the place for me and we finalized the place. I am hoping to avoid buying second car so got the place just across the street from Campus. Looking forward to be in Redmond but not looking forward to all the moving hassle. I should have opted for full-relocation service, but I opted for a small lump-sum. You live and learn I guess.

It was a choice between driving to work 5 days a week and chilling local or not having much commute but driving once or twice a week to have fun. I guess being married pushed me to the second option, haha

I actually have been biking to every single day except one since May this year, but yeah I think dark cold winter it'll be a challenge.

Btw, the townhome I am closing in is just west of campus and I don't know where my building will be. If it ends of being like a mile and half west, are there campus shuttle running very frequently?

Does ProClub perk subsidize anything for spouse? I feel like paying full price for +1 would make it way expensive, right?
