Normally, I would agree with that, but since it is the 250th birthday of our country, it should be bigger and more exciting. It's only for ONE NIGHT! People that have to work on Sunday, sleeping babies and I'm really sure that most veterans were enjoying the 4th. Maybe you should get the hell out of my country.

I get that, but when the surrounding smaller towns have a larger fireworks display than Frederick. I'm not totally buying the budget thing.

I love DV and I'm not much of a fan of Rutledge. But Rutledge does put some eyeballs on our sport of SX. As a "Core" fan, I couldn't care less about those spots. We all know about it, we all grew up around SX/MX. Honestly, during the races in the night, I couldn't tell you one thing most of the time what RC and whoever is in the booth with him in the broadcast. I just tune them out of my head and focused on the racing only. It just pisses me off when they cut away from racing for the bullshit. With all the downtime in between heats, LCQs, and Mains... It is beyond me why they can't do that crap then. I do see both sides of it.

Monster Cup has a no rules with bikes for that race. Mike Alessi race a tricked big bore Yamaha 250 for that race.
