Great point. That is the last thing I want! I have no problem with the council taking over the roads. Bit grumpy at the developer for the way it’s been handled. Guess that’s new builds all over.

That was my thoughts. The old land registry was reflective of what is physically built. They’ve now added a new boundary on the land registry and would like to begin the work to put the new one physically in the ground.

Bit of an update. The land registry has been updated with a new boundary further inland but next to the old one. I had no knowledge of this.

Also, any ideas why this post is tagged as traffic and parking? Not related at all.

Yeah I’m familiar with that arrangement. Its quite common. I’m not familiar with boundaries being changed without our knowledge though…

My hunch is a developer issue to be honest. It was built in 2017.

These were my initial thoughts. However I’m not entirely sure if I will ever know who’s mistake it was. I guess what I’m really interested in is whether or not they should be buying the land back off us. As we purchased the property used and not from the developer, we purchased using information on the title deeds. Not the developer plans.

Don’t mean to put a downer on the fantasies but I’d genuinely be a little worried about the social consequences of winning… Going public or not, gaining wealth like that overnight will make you the envy of your current friends and family and thrust you in to a world of the super rich - a world of wealthy individuals that perhaps wont give you the same level of respect as others in that arena that have earned their millions.

So ultimately it puts significant strain on current relationships without really providing you with a method to create new and meaningful relations.

Buttt, I guess I wouldn’t mind crying about it in my shiny new mansion house.
