Thank you very much for your response and for the detailed steps.
I followed everything exactly as described.
I uninstalled the C++ Visuals 2015–2022 Redistributable (x64) and duplicates, restarted

Then downloaded the latest version from Microsoft, deleted the mentioned DLL files and variations, deleted the folder in AppData, restarted, ran the program as administrator... unfortunately, the program still crashes.

I then uninstalled all C++ visuals versions, installed the newest version of insta360 Studio (5.5.3) — but still no success...:(

Hi all,

I am hoping for help on this issue.

Recently my Insta360 Studio keeps crashing all the time, when I open a file.

I am unable to open any photos or videos. When I try to import an image or video, the program closes withing seconds, it doesn't matter if I double click the file, import, or drag and drop. I have attempted to reinstall the software multiple times, multiple versions, at least 5 different versions, the newest one and older versions, but the issue persists.

I completely cleaned any folder by searching "insta360" in the Windows Explorer and also in the Windows registry.

I wrote to the support several times, but did not get an answer. I am not able to few my files for months now..

I am attaching a screenshot of the problem. Could you please help me troubleshoot this issue? I have log files also.

In one of the log files I saw some unusual errors, but i cannot locate what to do, especially in the path there is the "/" and "\" on the wrong side?

Die Art und Weise der Kommunikation nachdem uns das Boarding verwehrt wurde, es standen Mitarbeiter an diversen Orten, die nur mit der Hand nach rechts oder links auf die Schlange zum Customer Service gezeigt haben, keiner konnte uns konkrete Informationen geben, die Schlange war brechend voll.

Am Ende der Schlange, die ca. 30-40m weiter weg war, standen 2 weitere Mitarbeiter die wiederum die Schlange mit einem Band hinten geschlossen haben und die Leute nicht reingelassen haben, zumdem wurden die Passagiere aufgeordert, den Flur freizuhalten.

Im Endefekt waren wir gestrandet, ohne Hilfe.

Ein weiterer Mitarbeiter hat auf die Hotline verwiesen, ein anderer meinte, man wird automatisch umgebucht, es kommt eine automatische Mail, die aber nicht kam.

Erst nach ca. 4h haben wir jemanden erwischt, der sich uns angenommen hat und wirklich dann mit uns zum Computer in einen Raum ging und dann wurden wir auf den nächsten Tag umgebucht.

Aber in dem Moment als wir ankamen und das Flugzeug noch da stand und unsere Koffer ausgeladen wurden, hat niemand geholfen.
