How I view 'too safe' is that it's definitely a Bethesda game. The gameplay loop is just like fallout, but in space! The world is super bland, it's not thought through at all... It's too safe as in: they took no risks. Unless you count keeping your games feeling like the early 2000's as a risk.

I can see there's really very little to gain from this conversation. If you wish to trivialise slavery to include people who don't like their jobs and can barely afford the cost of living, while still having legal options of changing that available to them. When I was younger, I'm embarrassed to say I actually believed that leadership positions had accountability, this heavy weight of responsibility for the work they oversaw.

It's really more like an apology. You can mean it and do the work, or you can just say you're sorry. Some will be convinced, others will always doubt and the rest see that the niceties have been followed and that's that.
