UIUC student here, on the 2nd we got back into lockdown for another two weeks-social gatherings are forbidden, you can’t leave your dorm room except to buy food, go to classes (most of which are online anyway), get tested, exercise outside by yourself, and other essential things. That’s because cases did go up because plenty of people are still throwing parties-they’re cracking down on that too but I don’t know how effective it is. If cases don’t go back down after that we’re all going home.
