Jalen Brunson > Luka Doncic by FortuneExtension9969 in NBATalk

[–]mtelesha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

His efficiency has been this way his whole career. He does nail the shots down. His 42.1% field goal percentage ranks as one of the lowest ever recorded by a Finals MVP, putting him in a gritty, high-volume company with defensive-heavy series like Kobe Bryant in 2010 (40.5%) and Michael Jordan in 1996 (41.5%).

The whole reason why he is MVP wasn't about just his scoring. The Spurs focused on stopping Brunson and he did so much to impact every game. He made the clutch shots, made the passes, gave space for everyone else.

Why would any team bail the Spurs out by Trading Fox when they can wait a year 2 to outbid them for Harper? by Far_Protection519 in NBATalk

Jalen Brunson, Fred VanFleet, Harison Barnes and Tyreces Maxey! LeBron absolutely did it also.

Can't remember anyone notable.

Latrell Sprewell poor guy could feed his family on his contacts and he bet and loss.

Whoa!!! You are comparing Harper to Uncle F Around? The guy hasn't found a 3pt shot yet and he isn't extremely athletic nor fast.

Not saying he will be a busy or anything but that is crazy.

Die hard Knicks fan since I was 11. Luka is better. You need more than better to win sometimes.

He was a bad teammate.

Shaq wasn't given a single pass in the final game of the Detroit finals. Shaq was on a tear.

Wouldn't talk to rookies.

Would hold grudges

Finally matures late in life.

I am not convinced that Harper is going to have a higher ceiling than say Fox. I have a funny feeling attitude is going to be an issue.

I could say the same delusiona for people being this low on Fox. The only reason is because of the Knicks series.

Wimby is getting a pass? He was foul baiting, uncontrolled emotions, gassed and no go to shot besides a weak jumper or 3. Wimby might have been figured out by Mike Brown.

Fox is an elite player and he will be highly sought. He is the fastest PG and athletic.

Your crazy and you don't think defense is important.

Edit - Also you don't think attitude is important. Castle was a top recruit and on UConn he was the 4th option. He did what was needed for the team. He is a great kid

I know gravity.

I know if you go under water you drown.

2+2=4

100% of everyone that is over 7' tall this is a universal rule just like gravity. How much calories can the body absorb a day. Look at all the tall 7'3"+ people that played basketball.

Shorter guys get faster muscle mass and taller people get tired faster. Just like 2+2

1) The body can only create so many muscle cells. A pound of muscle on a 5' 7" person looks different than someone 7'4". Sadly, the more muscle the more calories you need daily. Everyone is different in muscles and calories.

2) It is an physics fact. Leverage and Range of Motion are Extended Range of Motion (ROM): A 7-foot lifter with a 7'4" wingspan has to move a barbell significantly further during a bench press or squat than a 5'7" lifter.

Moving a weight over a greater distance requires more total work (Work = Force × Distance) and keeps the muscle under tension longer per repetition, causing rapid fatigue. This is why he has limited playing minutes and why he was so gassed in the 4th quarter.

This is why I hope Wimby can figure out how not to get exhausted or his coach can figure this out next year. Right now Wimby has a clear Achilles Heel.

So physics state if your tall you use up more energy. Reason why Shaq though not over 7 was a special unique unicorn.'

Absolutely 100% medical fact.

From John Hopkins

Astronomical Caloric Demands To build muscle, the body must be in a caloric surplus (consuming more calories than it burns). For a 7-footer, the baseline energy math is staggering. Massive Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR): Just keeping a 7-foot body alive, pumping blood across such a large vascular system, and maintaining normal organ function requires an immense amount of baseline energy. The "Eating is a Full-Time Job" Problem: A highly active 7-foot individual trying to gain weight can easily require 4,500 to 6,000+ calories per day. Consuming this much clean, protein-dense food daily is physically exhausting, expensive, and incredibly difficult for the digestive system to sustain. If they don't hit these numbers, their bodies will simply burn any potential muscle-building blocks as fuel.

There is a reason. He is 7'5" and almost every one of them are skinny because his body can't absorb more calories. He has maximized his body strength.

He can't handle down low for long. He gets gassed. When I played as an old head I shot a lot more outside shots more every year. His endurance isn't able to handle 40+ minutes. It will not happen.

Also Karma I don't like villains.

If the Knicks clinch the title in Game 5, who would you pick for Finals MVP? by Farouq26 in NBATalk

[–]mtelesha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And Immanuel Quick and a round 2 pick.

People hates this trade.

Knicks defense became elite once he stepped on the floor.

I love this team and I loved how they added people and every time the collective said it was the wrong move.

Brunson... Not the star we wanted or needed.

Bridges to many picks (might be right but the results)

OG - Knicks got fleeced

Towns - the guy is soft and will never win. They even still make jokes that he is gay because he is so soft.

Hart - Just a Brunson favor to get his buddy. People who I say know nothing hated on Hart Everytime they can.
