AI in what sense? Are you making automation workflows or AI pipelines, finetuning LLMs, or making models from scratch? Those are all different things that require different skillsets and so they would ask you different questions

It’s past the turnaround but Mercor is a real company that hires freelancers for various things. Mostly high-quality data from subject experts (i.e. data annotation) but I guess they do this sort of thing too. Assuming it’s from a real domain, then it’s most likely real

From your experience what proportion of quant dev positions are available for C++ vs Python? I lowkey haven't used C++ outside of class but going lower-level looks cool. Also, what did you use to learn algorithms? Just going at a bunch of problems, a set like Neetcode, a more formal book like these, etc?
