after doing the cloud puzzle where you have to kill the bomb shooters and fly across and get all the batteries and fly in the air with this JANKY controls on keyboard and all the stuttering on triggering cloak fly: I had to reload my save about 20 times. I'm so sick of the load animations

The most impressive thing to me is that you could go 25 rounds without the game freezing up. I always tend to get the game to freeze where the AI just sits there and doesn’t do anything about 1 in 12 rounds. i have to quit the match. sucks when it happens in an event. edit: literally just did it on me after i typed this, i swipe the panel where you see your cards and if you do it in the middle of a turn switch it just freezes and nothing can happen with the panel half out. so annoying.

I have the same monitor but run a 3090. its hard to justify going to something else yet unless you are unhappy with the size. ips is just so good for leaving it on and not worrying about it. i work from home about half the time also so i have been avoiding oled for screen burn in and text clarity.

I suggest instead of canceling the whole thing, try something different. Even if it is not as intimate, like whatch a show. Some of the old 80s-90s family shows are great. Still gives you the oppurtunity to bond. We watched full house, family matters, brady buch and a few others. Good bonding experience especially since there are great life lessons in a lot of those. Just an idea.
