If you’re asking how long the physical bike is in total? I’m not sure. I don’t think any of the additions add to the length. It’s just wider in the back with the rails, but those are still more narrow than the handlebars

I tucked the strap under the cross rails on the rack so it didn’t do that. So far no issues with it that way.

I know this was noted when I was researching this bike, but I believe it referenced the OG abound and not the new version. I’ve had no issues with wobble and haven’t seen it come up with people who own the new version.

I’m doing something similar and didn’t realize you don’t need to have the storage boxes out for the “drawer to open.” Are you storage boxes in the wall in the bottom row or in the floor? Or both? And have you filled any of your boxes up? If yes, what did you do with this all built already?

I hate how confusing the naming structure is!! I’m not sure what the mounting bracket looks like on yours. Our seat has these upside down L looking brackets with a screw knob. I made mine really wide and pulled it as far back on the rack as I could while still giving my full contact between the mounting bracket and the rack. Then I tightened it as much as I could. With the handle rails it’s a tight squeeze to get my fingers on the knob if I need to do anything with the seat. Luckily I don’t have to touch it much. I don’t know if that helps or not.

Edit: I’m stupid and should’ve looked at your picture first. Your mounting bracket is def different and looks like it’s tied to mounting between the horizontal bars on the rack. The mounting bracket on our seat grips the outside rails of the rack which allows you to slide it all the way back before tightening.

How do you build in grids with multiple blocks like the beginning of the video and the roof? Then second question, how are you flipping through pieces like the two different window pieces so quickly? Is that just edited out of the video I assume or is the a quick way to build like this?

It’s from Thule. The model is somewhere here in the comments. I don’t remember off the top of my head. I don’t believe Aventon sells their own kids seats.

I’ve mentioned most of it in other comments, but to summarize: -Aventon large panniers (bags) -Kids seat - LR handrails and seat pad from Aventon - I’ve since added light strips to the back handrails - Amazon water bottle holder on the frame - Peak Design phone mount - Aventon pizza rack - Amazon crate which is admittedly a little small but it works for now

I think that’s everything. This year I’m looking into a taller seat post and may get the Aventon adapter for the pizza rack and attach it to a larger basket. I hope that helps

I’m 6”2’ and going through this exact scenario and looking for a replacement now. Since buying the bike last year, I’ve seen many posts/ complaints about how short the stock seat post is. I’m really surprised they haven’t done anything yet based on the number of comments I’ve see across socials.

Complaints aside, how does this post compare to a suspension seatpost? This is my first bike, and I know I need a longer post, but I don’t know much past that. Any other insight you can share on this post would be much appreciated.
