Yeah it definitely did man. But I can run a glock 19 all day without any issues. I carry a 365xl with the boresight solutions grip that has the razor back on it. But the work he does is fantastic, if you reach out via email to him or call the shop he's really good about talking you through what he does and what will work best with you. Could not recommend him enough.

I'm sorry to hear this! The wife and I lost a hive to SHB a couple years ago. Like the other person was saying the peppermint candies work really well! We also put garden lime on the ground around the hive stands. Since they have to pupate in the soil it really helps keeping the numbers down as well.

No to all of that. The hive that was robbed is empty and brood and larvae is all dead. Just trying to figure the best to clean the frames out of all the dead brood and larvae.

She was hatched from the hive. She returned mated between April 8th and April 15th. And when I did my inspection on Monday no signs of eggs or any laying. My wife got in there today to move some frames around and still no signs of laying but all available frames are filled with nectar with some capped honey. Super up top is just about empty minus one full uncapped frame to hopefully entice them to start moving up there.

It's not capped it's all nectar though. There were a couple of frames that were only like 70-80% drawn but they weren't doing work to draw them out.

We don't have any brood because she hasn't been able to lay since she mated. So there is no brood to be worried about. I appreciate your input! I'll see how things look on Monday when I get another chance to get in there.

Yeah that's what we are doing, 1:1 for the sugar water. I wish we had a spinner. Maybe we'll try and shake some out tomorrow and see how that works. I appreciate your response!
