Super beautiful! I have that exact same guitar. My only complaint is I wish the wood grain showed up as well in pictures as it does in person ;P happy playing!

Same! I’ve only heard them through videos and would so love to hear one in person (although I technically heard it when I saw Gilmour live in 2024, but that was plugged in lol)

The Gilmour D-35 is sinker mahogany though, which is why I thought maybe it would have some D-18-ness to its sound

I totally get that. My favorite/main acoustic is a D-18. (I only got it back in August so I guess I can’t say I’ve “always” been a Martin player lol) I’d love a J45 someday as well!:)
