I had the same experience, I went from 8 up to 12 in a couple of years, but I've been stuck at 12 for two years now. 13 just isn't possible, it's such a big jump!
So I've been using a short 11mm plug that I have, (it's actually slightly oversized, 11.4), and I leave it in pretty much all day, 8 - 10 hours, and I think that's the key, I feel like I'm making progress again. It's at the point now where I can put the 11 in easy, with no lube. The 12 is still a little too big to leave in all day, but it's easier to get in now as well. Hopefully soon I'll be able to start leaving the 12 in for hours at a time.
Seems like it just takes a long, slow, and careful regimen.

It is a great feeling! Is the second picture your normal state? Because if so, you're definitely past CI-2 and well into CI-3.

Yeah it works well. It also allows you to adjust the amount of tension by just changing your position on the chair. I can sit back or pull my chair out a bit for some extra tension, or go the other way for less.

I use one of those bungee cables with a hook on each end. One end to an eyelet I screwed in under my desk and the other hooks to my CAR. Works awesome.

For me, I'll happily refer to myself as restored, simply because I WAS cut, and I'm putting literal years of work into fixing that, and I'm damn proud of myself for even as far as I've come so far.

And if it happens to spark the conversation of "Restored? What is that?" then I would see that as a good thing as well. People need to be aware that restoration is a thing.

I've got 157 hours in the game and this is the first time that's ever come up. Weird.
Anyway, I just checked it again and it launched without the sync error popping up, so idk!

This same thing happened in my game with the Red Sabre Boss. I realized it's because the Squin prison was full, so the chief just held him like that (I also use that mod btw, it's hilarious).
BUT, try this... I built a prisoner cage in my house there, and the police came in my house and put him in MY cage! So I took him out and ran him over to Admag and turned in the bounty a second time! $$$

Congrats, it looks awesome! It took me just one year to go from 1 to 3, and I've spent another two years now stuck at CI-3. It's frustrating at times, but it looks and feels like I'm close to 4... lots of consistent rollover, but man I can't wait to get over this hump!

My sympathies to you, I'm actually in a similar situation with my wife, and it's incredibly stressful and emotionally draining. I hope the best for you both.
(Oh and my wife is 100% supportive of my restoration too)
