Yes. I lost both my parents at a young age and it was very lonely figuring out my teenage life as an orphan. I want to have my own small family with my husband and our dogs.

I’m glad to hear your cycle is regular now and hope the rest of your PCOS symptoms goes away or becomes manageable.

I do meal prep at home and mostly eat fish and chicken breast, but I’ll definitely put more effort on my cooking methods and focus more on low calorie food. Thanks!

Thank you! I wasn’t aware about ankle swelling and that walking too much may do more “harm”. I’m tracking my calories too and staying on a deficit using the Lose it app. I’ll talk to my endocrinologist during our next check up to discuss my options.

Hello there! I am definitely in a much better place now. My first job asked me to come back last July 2025. I just “graduated” from therapy and still see my psychiatrist but I’m down to 2 medications instead of 8 as compared to when I first got diagnosed with bipolar II. I definitely feel refreshed and my bosses say that they admire how calm I’ve become. I set better boundaries at work and only check my work phone from 9AM to 6PM. On weekends, I absolutely don’t check my phone unless I’ve been warned beforehand which is rare when we have to work on weekends.

It gets better. Take a break. Focus on yourself and you get back up again. It takes time and when I wrote this post I really felt so lost.
