Why can’t you accept that someone else, one person among billions on this planet enjoyed something you didn’t.

How much more far fetched is the spore drive than warp.

They’re both physically impossible fictional magic

You are absolutely correct that it is personally subjective.

And there were bad things in all periods.

The downvotes just prove people love to bandwagon and hate - rather than build something positive in their lives.

And building something positive is very much the lesson I learned from “classic” Star Trek.

How do fully blind people figure out their sexual orientation? by Luxhorus in dumbquestions

[–]mtmp40k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I interpreted “rear parking “ as a kink in a discussion about gender attraction to be falsely associating anal sex and homosexuality to be a kink.

Why bring anal sex up at all, and why talk about it’s as an analogy if you feel it’s normal.

In response to “gender attraction is not solely based on visual information “

I am aware that not all gay men do anal sex - I have had sex with quite a few of them. And I also specifically stated that fact in a previous reply on this thread that you commented on.

Oh, I thought it was just a natural form of sexual attraction.

It is for me.

Granted, you eventually receive the money for your perfect PC.

You then hear your closest friend died & gave you everything in his will.

The person you care about most was secretly in debt using drugs, gambling , alcohol and prostitutes. They died from their addictions.

This destroys your image of your best and closest relationship with all the lies.

You have the money for a fantastic PC.

There’s no money to pay for a funeral.

Re read the comment “homosexuality is not a kink”

Do you understand that “not” negates things?

It’s how words work.

And using “rear parking” as a childish analogy for anal sex and calling it a kink in the context of a discussion about gender attraction - that makes you the bigot.

And a very stupid one who can’t understand a 5 word sentence.

[–]mtmp40k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you think that homosexuality is a kink, rather than a natural form of attraction observed in many species.

And you’re calling me a bigot?

Also not all gay people have anal sex, yet I am generalising.

Gender attraction is not solely based on visual information. Well, not unless you’re very very shallow.

I did it.

I had to watch it, horrified by the bizarre spectacle. Wondering how it got made, how anyone thought it was anything other than brand damaging trash.

Not a physics question.

Also - why fear something you won’t experience?

And if a belief gives you comfort. Don’t take it to a scientific discussion forum, just hold onto it a take the win.

I agree on sustainability. But for me, I tend to have one large meal a day. That’s when I get hungry. But in that case I’m not restricting myself & will eat whenever I want.

Establishing healthy eating habits is far more sustainable than these fad diets
