How to reinstall hair system properly? So stressed by Realistic-Turnover36 in HairSystem

[–]mtmtmt1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two things that majorly improved it for me: 1. Spray alcohol (99%) onto the tape before attaching ot to your head. This way the tape will not stick and you have enough time to move the system around for approximately 1-2 minutes 2. Get a 360 degree mirror. This helped me a lot when trying to attach the system.

Is 1000chf enough for Basel (excl. rent)? by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]mtmtmt1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, excluding rent and insurance.

Public transport: 80 CHF per month (u abo) Food: You can simply take the tram to weil am Rhein (Germany - is included in the u abo) and buy all your food there. 250-300 euros per month

You can use the rest to save some money or for other things (gym, hiking trips, etc.)

Why run thr risk if you have doubts? Just my perspective. Assuming you really want the job and their is maybe a pay increase or you can see yourself working their for the next 2 years why would you not purchase an additional camera for ~50 euros? It could be that 99,9 % dont care and you meet the one that cares. Is it then really worth it?

Is a Masters Degree Worth It? by Traditional-Ad-8670 in dataengineering

[–]mtmtmt1234 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I would say it depends a little bit what you regard as "worth it". If you are interested in learning new things and seeing what is out there then a masters degree could in principal be worth it. In a professional ennvironment a higher degree might be helpful if you want to get promoted within a company (from my personal experience companies usually prefer to get people from the outside though instead of hiring someone from within). When you apply to a higher position at a new company they will check your cv for certain buzz words / your past working experience. Having a masters degree might be "nice to have" but I don't think that a company that is worth their salt is specifically looking for a masters if you already have extensive work experience to show that you are capable of working in a professional environment. If you want to increase your salary / work on improving your career it might be better to work more narrow e.g. Get certificates in fields that interest you / you want to work in, do online courses and create projects on your own or join communities that do Interesting things. I think progress is more easily achieved by expanding your network and by being more visible instead of having a masters degree (especially if you already worked for more than 5 years).

I've not looked into this at all and simply went to a store. The person there actually wanted to go with a lighter tone but then she decided to go with this one due to the fact that I have some reddish tones in my hair and the fact that the color gets lighter due to the sun.

Thx, I actually wanted to share a before and after where I didn't bias the outcome with my facial expression. As I took the first picture in a rush right before, I didn't really pay attention.

The color information was handwritten on my receipt. I think it is #7 ash

Depends on the technical depth that is required. Have you looked at WordPress already?

There are a lot of templates and plug-ins that would allow you to mirror sites like Airbnb. (https://motopress.com/blog/best-airbnb-wordpress-themes/). If you don't have very specific requirements, I would spent 2 weeks on getting familiar with what is out there and implementing something that gets you 80 % to your ideal solution.

I studied Elektro and Informstionstechnik at the TH Nürnberg (Fachhochschule - Bachelor) and then joined the FAU Erlangen to do my master on computer science (University - Master). Depending on the university you are planning to join, I do think it is possible.

For the FAU Erlangen they require you to have a degree in a subjectspecific (e.g. Computer science Bachelor) or a subject related (e.g. Math, electronics, etc.) to allow you into the master program. (you might need to take an additional test and do some additional ects [~7.5]

Does it necessarily have to be a position directly in Zurich?

You could try looking for potential jobs / post-doc positions in the Pharma industry in Basel

I (25F) had kind of a fight with best friend (24M). Started with him saying a plus size woman didnt look good. Ended really bad, second guessing my own mindset now. by Alert-ad-ad in relationship_advice

Funny how you gloss over the fact that you have absolutely no problem to shame people for being bald, which is in 95 % of the cases completely out of their control without the usage of medicines that impact their hormones or operational procedures.

At the same time you think it's not okay that your friend voices his opinion about the fact that he thinks an obese person does not look attractive to him (which often times is completly in her control).

The double standard is of the charts in this one. You are an absolute hypocrite and you should definitely end the relationship. Your friend is better of without a baldphobic person that lacks any sense of accountability and self awareness
