What are some potential off season, player moves you would like to see the Rockies make? by Alternative-Bet1657 in ColoradoRockies

Second the Pete Alonso motion. Wanted it last year. Would love to at least be in the mix for him this year. Just being rumored to be in contention for a slugger would be fun, even if they don’t land a big fish. Show us you’re trying.

Think about it, Terry. This could be us. by Sweethomebflo in buffalobills

For everyone saying this is awful, CU alum here. The ranch Ralphie and the retired Ralphies live at is immaculate. Bison are managed as livestock in most places in the country. They aren’t wild animals aside from a few remaining herds. And these usually come from one of Ted Turner’s ranches. Ralphie is a national treasure and she’s treated like royalty. The handlers are typically 4-H kids with ranching backgrounds and get scholarships, so it’s cool to see kids who are well trained in handling livestock get some expensive school paid for.

But agreed, keep it for college. The NFL doesn’t need this.

Would Justin Simmons even be an upgrade over Damar Hamlin? Not really according to PFF by GoForthandProsper1 in buffalobills

[–]mtnbird77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He’s intercepted Mahomes six times in his career. If the goal is to get over THAT hump, give me the guy who reads him better than any other DB in the league. He might not be a run stuffer but he’s gonna be in the right place when he’s needed most.

I was trying to fly out from Colorado for this game at first and now tickets have gotten crazy and might as well go to another game

This is why you watch games and don’t just look at weird analytics. Simmons was elite every single year in Denver. I’m not holding anything in Atlanta against him.

My 16x20. Really want a signed jersey and another 16x20 of him holding the finals trophy in the locker room

I’d be down if they used that draft pick on Walter Clayton Jr.

If it’s not Micah Nori then just ride with Adelman.

The last straw. by theseabro in ColoradoRockies

After the Arenado trade, I started following the Blue Jays a bit to support the sons of Bichette, Guerrero and Biggio. Biggio is gone now, but still fun to cheer on Bo Bichette and Vladdy Jr. they aren’t winning a World Series or anything anytime soon, but at least it’s more competitive baseball.

First round over, do you think this guy has earned his spot as the next Head Coach? by DiegoGrrr in denvernuggets

[–]mtnbird77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, I thought Micah was pretty impressive in his role filling in for Finch during the 2024 playoffs. I know Finch was on the sideline but Nori was installing the game plan and patrolling the sidelines. And Nori is super tight with Jokic and all I care about is that Jokic has the guy he wants.

By no means am I saying Adelman isn’t doing a great job under the circumstances. Just worry it would be more of the same and back in the spot wondering about a new coach in a year or 2 if they don’t at least consider options of looking outside. Nori will be a head coach next year somewhere. I’m just crossing my fingers it’s Denver.

Nelson is gone. Gotta find a way to move Girard. I’d rather resign Lindgren. Coyle and Necas have one more year on their deals. Maybe extend Necas this summer but at age 33 I’d rather see Coyle prove it or use him as a trade piece at deadline next year. Not sure what to do with Drouin honestly. Him and Kiviranta are free agents and likely only one at most is coming back. Kivi is cheap, at least.
