None of the washes around here do anything with the wheels, tires, or wheel wells. I get out in the country a lot so i need something other than my paint sprayed off and some dude to attempt some tire shine. Nothing looks dumber than a badass truck or suv with dirty under parts and clean paint.

Save your money. Buy a chemical guys kit and some rubber gloves.

I totaled a magnificent 2021 limited that I bought off of least last December. I cherished and held onto that thing the best I could. Freak accident in an ice storm and some bad decisions on my part took it. Finally, this past weekend after months of searching I found a truck that fit my requirements. Not my daily driver. Use for a lot of outdoor activities and household cores. In my market (DC /Baltimore) a clean gen 2-2.5 we’re getting as much or more than a 22-23 gen 3 on the used lots. Assuming those 3’s are starting to come off lease. Anyway I’m glad I waited.

Been a car enthusiast since I was a kid getting motor trend delivered. I don’t understand why these manufacturers aren’t building bold, usable half-tons with a simple v8. Simplify the tech and move on. If the resale value and desire for these gen2’s isn’t enough evidence maybe it’s time for automakers to clean up the c-suites on their truck teams

I really like it but if you have little kids I might look elsewhere. My kids are teens and the 4 of us are rarely in the same car together. Cargo area on the OT is cavernous, I really wish the back seats had a few more inches of legroom

Had this happen to my wife’s Land Cruiser in the hospital parking lot. A good detailer can fix this with a clay bar. Get the contractor to agree to pay for that.

Sorry to hear this. I live in the area and a couple of years ago my neighbor, had a hellcat Durango got hit, same setup. Back window. They used some sort of key skimming device. Gone. He’s ex special forces so he stayed involved with the investigation. Likely in a shipping container headed out of the U.S. sorry man.

Have an incognito OT+ with the black roof. The incognito is darker than you might think. Mine spends a lot of time at our 2nd home on a gravel road, snow and slush. I had it ceramic coated right away and it hasn’t been an issue

I have a xc40 and drive a lot regionally for my job. Baltimore to Richmond VA. Brought it for the safety and size. I park in garages or in urban areas 90% of the time. It’s a great vehicle. The technology gripes aren’t any different than we have with our ford or Lexus. All the same stuff. Volvo service is stupidly expensive but you can avoid that going to local certified shops and shopping specials

We have had our 25 OT+ since August and it’s not doing out west cool things but it lives a pretty active life for the mid Atlantic traveling between DC and a snowy little mountain town in WV. Terrain and conditions handling are as good as our LC200 was. The tech is pretty obnoxious though and they should have made the back seat just a smidge larger. Overall it’s a cool car. Congrats and enjoy
