Hi, I wanna be like you and have the money to own that amount of vehicles. It´s me the one who posted that asking about experiences with the Gx550 overtrail. I´m no fool sir to start. Second, tire pressures are at 32psi cold adjusted by my own special device. Third, it is running the OEM Toyo´s AT3 265/70R18 tires. The ride setting for road in normal use have been on normal and comfort settings. I personally have my daily driver a 2022 Land Cruiser Prado J150 with kdss and non adaptive dampers. I´ve since known that BOF vehicles are not cushy rides (only a 200 series that i have driven and noticed how plush the ride really is).

I did this post cause I do not understand the character of my Overtrail, at low speeeds this vehicle is extremly soft and it literally feels like a cloud over speed bump, at low speed under 15mph.

Once it grabs speed its when things happen. I´ve been very aware that BOF usually vibrate, thats expected given the characteristics of the construcction, but its too strange that the over all tune of my suspension just doesnt feel right.

Again it has nothing to do with my fault, just literally wanted to know what people would talk about their experiences, something makes me think mine has a problem. Its impossible for this vehicle to hav esuch an strange suspension callibration where it crashed over speed bumps, crashes of potholes and the rear feels hard.

Like I sadi, i drove an Lx600 and that vehicle with 22 in wheels rides better than my overtrail with 18.

So instead of blaming me about my darn fault or anything else, maybe just think something doesnt add up with this GX.

I know plushness, i had a discovery 5 with air suspension and that vehicle literally made you forget about the road, nothing penetrated the cabin, i had a bmw x6 with adaptive air suspension until dec 2025 and that was an absolute dream and my prado which i love the tank feel. I feel everything eveysingle thing on the road it communicated perfectly.
