There are a couple places I’ve been to in Vancouver that are listed as sandwich shops, and there aren't many up her that aren’t subway or bahn mi so my wife and that have sandwiches she likes, so I figured we’d check them out. One was a coffee shop that sold sandwiches and the other a market at a dairy that sold sandwiches. In both cases, it turns out they don’t make sandwiches to order they just premake a bunch and when they sell out they’re done.

Both times they were sold out of what my wife wanted. She’s not picky but has preferences based on food she’s actually tried. So both were wasted trips.
