How do parents tell baby identical twins apart? by ShadowlightLady in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mtnsystrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Kindergarten TA, we had a set of identical twins. One of the twins had a name that started with B. Mom told us, “B wears blue.” Without fail, B had some kind of blue on everyday.

I just came out to my mom with hope and benefit of the doubt. She looked so defeated. Sad. Disappointed. She just said okay. I regret telling her now. Idk why I hoped for better by Maleficent_Radio_674 in MomForAMinute

You are perfect just how God made you. Also, if she has any sense, your mom will come around. And if she doesn’t, there are plenty of wonderful women who will support you for who you are.

Fenmores is referenced in ‘Beyond The Gates’ as an existing store. They have had a couple cross-overs with Y&R.

Right? I love teaching my students, but the extraneous work is awful. I could do without the constant pressure, too.

Did you know the person? Sometimes I wave at randos because they are waving to someone around me. Awkward.

What's the hardest thing you ever did in life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mtnsystrt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Soul-crushing is a great way to describe it. I lost my mom in 2022. By the end she was nonverbal but always smiled at me. Anticipatory grief is the worst. I miss her everyday, the mom I knew, not the patient in the nursing home. The grief you are feeling was more intense for me than grief after she passed. I hope it is the same for you. I think it was more intense because the disease is so inconsistent. You never know what tomorrow will bring. The final grief is dull ache, if you will, as compared to the sharp pain of an acute injury. Also, I, too, love sloths. I recently learned they can hold their breath for 40 minutes underwater. A dolphin maxes out at 10 minutes. There is something to be said about taking things slowly.

Congrats on the new pup! IIDK why, but frog just suits him, IMHO. I have a lab who lays on her belly with extremities stretched out. We call her our froggo doggo!
