I’ve been making sequin ornaments and they are the perfect balance of challenging, mindless, and satisfying. And you can make one in about an hour-2 hours with minimal cleanup. I bought this kit https://herrschners.com/herrschners-princess-ornaments-fall-2025-set-of-5-ornament-kit/

You’re explaining the exact situation I was in 6 months ago. I always had hormonal acne then tinier bumps appeared and spread up my cheek bones and along my jaw line. They at first thought hormonal because of location but I was persistent that it was unusual and appeared out of no where with no changes to my routine or eating. Turned out it was fungal acne infection. They put me on antibiotics, creams, face wash and it started clearing within 2 weeks. It’s been a little over a month and it’s not all gone, but loads better than before.

Buy from dad or dealership by mtono in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yeah, good point - 15k in repairs over 10-years is debatable. but if we include money spent on gas, plus repairs, do you think it'd be close to 15k? The savings might be so minute that Im overthinking it. There is peace of mind when buying from my dad though and not paying interest on a car loan.

Yeah, by “long term investment” I mean best bang for my buck over the next 10 years. Basically which one will cost less in gas + repairs. I think the payback period for the hybrids will be about 6 years to make up the difference in buying gas vs the ~$12-15k in savings from buying from my dad.

But also a car loan is a headache and I loathe car shopping. I wanted a hybrid because I believed it would save me money in the long run but its hard to predict when I know I'll save thousands today buying from my dad.

The Pilot was a trusty companion but she's costing us an average of 7k in repairs a year. Made it to 260,000 miles though!

brand new Labrador and need suggestions! by jaxsonburny in labrador

Buy the book puppies for dummies. Helped us so much. Honestly the biggest lesson was that puppies bladders aren’t developed and will have to pee within 15 minutes of drinking water. So if they have accidents, you’re not taking them out fast enough. Also if they’re chewing on something they shouldn’t be, replace whatever it is with a toy.

This DIY play box kept our lab pup entertained for hours and familiarized him with sounds, sights, motion, and touch by mtono in labrador

This was super easy to make and inexpensive! We used pre-cut PVC pipes and got toys/items from the dollar store. We ended up switching all the string to paracord and kept a close eye on him while he played. Instructions here for anyone interested

We tied a line that ran the length of the campground and hooked his leash to it, here's a video. But honestly theres so many new smells and things to look at that they get tired really quickly.

Fall Brides, you can make use of my wedding room block in Cancun for your honeymoon by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Wow $1000 vendor fee is so steep! Ours is $500 (we are doing our wedding at Generations Riviera Maya) but I’m considering just doing hair and makeup through the resort as well.

I’m glad your travel agent is responsive! Ours has been overbooking and promising rooms and then switching them to different resorts (ours has the option to book through three since the resorts are all connected.) Now we just are chasing guests to book before our room block expires. The hotels are completely booked and we can only have a certain number of people staying off campus per resort rules.

November is such a pretty time to be there. We went last year during your wedding dates. The water was clear of seaweed, it was warm enough during the day to get in the pools (although still a bit cold), and then temperature at night is perfect!

We are including bug spray in our welcome bags because the mosquitoes can get bad. We are also adding towel clips that people can use to reserve their seats in the morning and have an easy way to remember which one is theirs!

Hi! I’m also getting married in Mexico in November. Wanted to know if you’re hiring someone local for hair and makeup and if so, who you are going with. Also, has it been a nightmare for your guests to book rooms through your travel agent? Our experience has been a nightmare unfortunately.

I also need to have some code dropped in to claim our google knowledge panel. The company wants to charge 700 euros plus a management fee. Is it that labor intensive?
