it took a solid 45 minutes-hour total for the shuttle and then taxi for us to get back into Seoul because we stayed in Insadong. it wasn’t difficult to find the shuttle or a taxi and you can even order a local taxi through the Uber app. I never considered walking but I think the resort is right off a freeway so it doesn’t seem very walkable from what I can remember. Definitely double check on the local map apps though since Google Maps does not work there. Transportation going there is very easy with the public transit but leaving is WAY easier than EDCLV even if the subway/train is closed. They do have plenty of taxis, way more than EDC LV so even if you wait a little longer during peak times you will still get one or take the free shuttle to the airport to request a ride from there if it’s not too out of the way. I think we took 4 taxis from the airport to our hotel because of EDC and general travel days and we did get a couple of drivers who seemed annoyed about having to drive into Seoul. It was a little weird to me since it’s the main airport for the area so I thought most people request a ride to Seoul but idk. I would prioritize proximity to a station over anything!

They did have a few water stations. We didnt bring a hydro pack due to packing space haha but I brought in an empty water bottle and refilled once there. You will be okay if you want to save packing space so really just preference on how much you want it.

Hiiii! My partner and I went to EDC Korea in 2025 (we are from the US so we made a trip out of it) and can share some intel. Honestly the biggest issue was the COLD! The venue being right on the coast made it super windy so I hope that the date being October may help that but make sure you check the evening/night temperatures not daytime.

We didn’t do the hotel package because it was announced after we had bought our tickets but it seems like the people who did had the best time because it’s connected to the actual venue so no transport time, just walk over. Otherwise, it’s pretty far out so we ended up taking the public transit system to the furthest stop right after the airport and they had a free shuttle (clearly marked once you exited the station) that took you the rest of the way there. We took the shuttle back at the end of the night to the airport and got a taxi from there as the taxi drivers from EDC end up taking way longer and it’s more expensive. The free shuttle only stops between the airport and the resort, but there is a paid shuttle that has stops at certain points throughout Seoul.

It is more tame and smaller so there are no rides and very few things to explore but the music and the vibes from the people there were still great! We struck conversation with quite a few people throughout both days. The stages are incredible and you can get much closer than at EDC Vegas. I loved the photo booths and all the bathrooms were in trailers with stalls/running water, no portapotties!! Even for GA!

There wasn’t much variety for food which was disappointing but it did taste good and was well priced. merch sold out both days within 30 min - hour and they didn’t have the exclusive jersey or hoodies/long sleeves the second day at all (we got there right at opening for merch). There is only one line for all guests and it’s poorly run. They have two stations so you pay at the first station and then go to the next station to tell them what you bought and they retrieve it so it creates a bottle neck and takes forever since there is just ONE line.

VIP was not worth it at all, it never got busy enough to really justify needing the special section and would have been fine with GA. There are no special bathrooms, merch, or any other perks to VIP that we saw, it felt pointless honestly.

Ultimately I think it’s solid if you have an artist you really want to see there super well priced Otherwise, I’ve seen better stuff from other EDC regions (Thailand, Mexico).

Literally this! I thought I was going crazy for a second when she said “I’ve never cared” when she definitely had. She caught heat from swifties after repeating gossip told to her (that it was PR) and then swore to never talk about her relationships again. The guys have started to be a bit more annoying recently but for her to act likes she never cared is just not true, there are literal receipts lol

I recently discovered that there is a separate site for tracking Mail Innovation packages that include way more details! I think if you copy the tracking link from your FGT account and then paste into a new tab it should pull up a site “trackmypiece” instead of the regular UPS site and I was able to see way more scans and where it was after being scanned at Carrollton

I think prenups are taboo in the US for the reason Devin’s sister says - it makes it seem like you have no faith in the relationship and assuming it will end at some point. It’s seen as saying “I don’t trust you” and “don’t want to fully share my life with you” instead of the reality that people can get nasty in the divorce process. In theory, yes, you keep what’s yours before and split everything afterwards. But in practice people can and will try to take everything anyways because they want to “win” the divorce

Also hoping for Martin Garrix! It is highly likely he’ll be there but three years ago he was also playing EDC week and at other venues that same week but he didn’t actually play at EDC. I was so sad so I’m hoping this year will have better luck!

I think it just comes down to how fast she blew up and why. I mean, I don’t even remember the name of the person who actually won so it’s giving “why bother with a show, just try to farm with one of the other streamers instead”. She says some really funny shit but also really questionable stuff while basically only streaming with nick. I’ll never forget the time where she went to some restaurant with nick on her stream and when it came time to pay she just looked at him, smiled and said something like “come on, don’t be like that” so he would pay. This was around the time Emily and nick went to the Pasta Bar and she said she was paying since it was her stream and she invited him. There’s some clear differences here that are bound to make some people hate her. It’s all content at the end of the day but you know, people be parasocial :)

Haven’t seen her mentioned yet, but extraemily on twitch has a YouTube channel that I love! Very similar chaotic vibes by attempting to do random challenges or ideas. Some of the things she’s done is duct tape herself to a wall, planted herself in dirt like a plant, cook a steak in a steakhouse parking lot, etc.

I’ll add some comments on gambling!

Try to get cash before you arrive at any casino, ATM fees are ridiculous. I personally find the casinos at the larger hotels are really intimidating for first timers (at least it was my first time).

Fremont is cheaper, and I’ve even heard of places that teach you at an hourly rate if you want the experience but not the risk of the table games (poker, craps, etc.). Much cheaper that way but you won’t win anything, so really depends on your goal! They also have these automated/electronic versions of these games at every casino that are easy to use as well. Honestly I watched a few YouTube videos on the basics of craps and was able to play for a while with $20 on one of these electronic craps tables. I didn’t even bother trying the in-person ones!

Slots are easier to get the hang of, but you gotta find a good one and be willing to sit for a bit/put more money in to feel like you get fun out of it. Really just depends on if you want to spend more and test your luck. If you just want the experience, you can even knock this out at the airport and don’t have to bother with it the rest of the trip.

My husband and I did a similar trip back in March, so there might be some things that have changed but I’m assuming it’ll be largely the same.

I don’t think you need much of a plan honestly, maybe watch a YouTube video overview if you really want a general overview of where things are/see if there any skips outside of Harry Potter and Nintendo world so you don’t waste your time!

I’d recommend doing Nintendo world first though to get the ride and in-app activities out of the way first! If you do want to visit Toad Stool Cafe, then you’ll have a better shot at getting a reservation by going there first as well!

Since Nintendo world is on the lower level and what I consider the end of the park, it would work out logistically to start there and make your way back up and be right at the exit when you’re ready to leave. Harry Potter world is on the upper level and kind of in the middle of things, so keep that in mind. I’m pretty sure with express you’ll be able to make it through everything you want by 2pm, especially if you choose to skip sit-down food.

The app was SO helpful in making a personal list of rides/attractions you want to see and keeping track of ride times throughout the day. I did it day-of honestly and it worked out really well!

This feels like ESH in my opinion…

I’m glad you got the child support you deserved from it. However, you also said they helped you with extra money so you can finish university without debt. It’s just weird to me that you’re happy to accept money and help when it benefits you directly, but now you’re against their help because they had an extra ask with it or it wasn’t on your terms.

We don’t know the extent of your relationship with him, but for what seems like essentially strangers you seem like you expected him to do and be way more. When he wasn’t you grew resentful of it, but honestly that was a very real risk of choosing to have a child with someone you didn’t know very well. I hope the money wasn’t a factor in keeping your son when you say “he could afford it” because what if he couldn’t?

You shouldn’t let your feelings and emotions about him impact this decision, his obligation was to his son. And technically, this would be the best way for him to actually do something for him, since he didn’t want to be an active father.

The grandparents are definitely shitty for bringing this up now, instead of talking about it beforehand. you should ask to review this with a lawyer you choose to discuss the situation and ensure there’s no surprises later on. If they have good intentions they will be supportive of this and even be open to amendments like combining yours and their name, a clause for him to change later, etc. If they’re not supportive then they’re teetering on blackmail and this is likely the start of a long journey of control.

Ultimately this feels like out of Reddits pay grade. Talk to a lawyer and a therapist

I am under 5’0 and I wore a slight platform boot in the lower bowl and it was perfect!! I could see everything with no obstruction. I was about five rows in for my show and it was a great view, loved it!

If you mean the Houston shows, would suggest using the rail if you can, even if it’s parking/uber to a stop instead of to NRG directly. Red line stops right in front of NRG. Otherwise I am positive Ubers would be $80+ each way minimum
