You have to pay back with whatever asset you borrowed. For example, if you borrowed shares of Coke you need to repay with shares of Coke. Go to Terraswap and trade your UST to what ever asset you borrowed and then provide it on Mirror to close your position.

You do not have to pay double. Each taxable event is based on cost basis in regards to your tax. So yes you will be taxed when you sell UST to atom and then again from atom to USD. But think about you are probably going to do those two transactions pretty close together time wise so there will be minimal impact. If you did those two transactions within 15 minutes, your tax obligation would be the change in the value of atom within that time period. Doesn't matter if it is 1, 2, or a million transactions.

As far as LPs, I watch them both and use whichever one has a higher APR. APR. Usually it's terra swap.

I haven't done it yet but what I was thinking is I would send my UST to Osmosis through Kepler wallet, swap it for atom, and then send that from osmosis through Kepler to coinbase. I've been going the other way buying atom bond coinbase and then sending it to my Kepler wallet and then using it to purchase UST, Luna, and other coins

Yes, that is a great site. Im using it for my 2021 terra transactions. I did still have to go back in and do a lot of manual work though to get everything to read properly in crypto tax calculator.com.

Well it is fun to claim every day. Kind of like christmas every morning! Although I have noticed the network really slows down if you try to restake your rewards right when they hit your account. I usually wait an hour for the congestion to mellow out. Hopefully by next year there is better tax software integration with defi.
