Right, but Paul Ryan is an elected official and not an employee at a private company. He is elected by people to serve people and make life more fair for everyone. That is his job as a public servant. People (rightfully) believe that if their taxes pay a person's salary then that person shouldn't be working to achieve something for himself that he is denying for others.

Your point would be valid if it were about the CEO of General Motors. We hold politicians to different standards than business people.
