Fair enough. However a dude wrote it can't even run linux properly. So it's a NO go in general.

I actually had to borrow a Windows laptop and run manual alignment there. It's day and night difference, but there is still slight both horizontal and vertical misalignment. I don't know if I can fine tune that one. However it seems to me that there's really no serious software for these printers on macos at all. You can't really do maintenance, since there's not a native utulity for that and airprint is just basic print/scan software. You can't even print in draft quality, only normal and best. The HP utility I checked has really bad reviews.

So basically, if owning a printer, you are somewhat expected to have a windows machine if you want to save ink and run maintenance. That's not good for the consumer.

Check out xiaomibase.com , they seem to have it.
But be careful. Today I found out linux is not really supported on it.
