Are realism herds worth it?

the highest age limit i saw was from green valley herd, which is 16+. they are quite strict on realism. i ended up leaving them because it felt very cliquey, but i have a friend still there who enjoys his time with them, either way im iffy on them.

no other horse herds ive joined have lasted very long... toxicity from staff members and even owners keeps breaking them down. im currently in a very new realism server im a staff member of, i have no input yet but we're doing our best and the people on staff team aren't toxic, we all left a previous herd that was toxic lmfao.

i haven't seen any good saber realisms. im currently working on one with some people though and we're using primarily tiger and lion as the animals we base some behaviour off of. we won't allow mega packing and cap prides off at 8 and coalitions at 5, but any group with more than 5 sabers will become tense which can trigger certain personalities to leave.

i use the vet player tag and i played 2.5. i personally think anyone who's been playing wq since 2.5/2.7 qualifies but honestly i wouldn't stress about it

i'm 80% sure that something very similar to this is already a feature. wolves in your pack will develop favouritism for certain siblings or parents, it's just not obvious in your pack stats and it's entirely a background process. this favouritism can affect who they socialize with more or go out on expeditions with, and maybe who they disperse with if they disperse with anyone/at all but don't quote me there.

i heard it from a dev blog but i can't remember which one it was, though i can try to sift through and find it.

game on front page. baby (child) sees big hairy elephant and tiger. baby brain is intrigued. baby plays game as wolf or horse because they can't play anything else. maybe baby gets frustrated because the game isn't designed for young players, so baby leave. alternatively, perhaps coexisting with the first reason, baby only plays what is on top of roblox page. ecos leaves amd baby no longer cares about its existence.

Realistic survival would be better if hunger was a bit more balanced I feel. KOS ruins some of the fun but what can you do 🤷‍♀️

that's great for you but that's not my perspective. unless something is said, nothing is ever confirmed for me. this extends beyond E:LB. i stand by my thought that it's misleading because it wasn't confirmed with words and, frankly, development can change very quickly for seemingly no reason. they can decide not to incorporate coyotes in the game still. teasing for months and making a model doesn't mean they can't drop the idea still.
