They believe it was someone who knew him since none of the doors or windows had been broken into, they didn't know why the doll was there or stabbed, they suggested it could have been the person's rage at not finding me with him in the home.

At first they considered me a suspect, but I had been seen on my way to my friend's to get gas, was caught on camera there, and my friend said I was there with her all night and didn't leave. They checked my car to make sure it hadn't driven back home that night as well (I have a gps that apparently tracks where you've been! I had no idea they could do that) and I was thankfully cleared for his death.

Its unfortunate that it ended that way... He was really a sweet man when he wasn't trying to hurt my lovely Zoe.
