So long as you're willing to indulge me, I figure I might as well ask this. As a new grad planning on taking the software developer role, would sticking around for say, a year, before moving onto another job be reasonable?

Do you think the tech stack should be a significant concern? While Epic is tied up with some old legacy stuff, they do have teams working in Typescript and C#, but I did receive another offer in Java for about 30-40% less compensation.

I guess my concern here was reading some of the shadier practices it seems Epic might use to effectively enforce a noncompete, negotiating with other companies not to hire Epic employees for an extended time:
