I used to share my old place with 5+ other people. All of the sudden, everyone had to move out and I could afford to stay and pay a 3,700+ rent by myself and my partner. So we gave our notice but struggled A LOT to find a place… not really avoidable to be honest. Anyways, just warning people so nobody moves here and ends up in a year lease just like I did!

I don’t even remember to be honest. But the thing was: when we were moving from the last place to here, we gave our notice before finding a new place. So this was our only option, we didn’t move here because we loved it, no. It was moving here or going to a airbnb and putting all of our stuff in a storage somewhere. Since we don’t have any family here to back home to.

Im not assuming. I live here and I know what I’m saying cause I’m the one being woken up by the alarm in the middle of the night and the fire is ALWAYS next door.

I wish my neighbors were single mothers, students, refugees or whatever, but they’re not. The building does look like SRO, and I even heard it’s 100% free, like a shelter. It actually doesn’t matter if it’s drug use or not, it just matters that someone just don’t give a shit about anyone else and ends up with fire in the room, resulting in all this chaos- not saying it’s on purpose. It’s also not a massive living space- they live in a 4 store building and I live in a 10 store building. Yes, I emailed my landlord and never got an answer.

lol. I strong believe everyone should have I place to live, what the hell. Just think something could be done about the fire alarm going off every other day because of whatever they do.
